ELIAS:  Good afternoon!

DARYL:  Good afternoon to you too! (Elias chuckles)  I have several things I want to talk to you about today.  Anyway, I guess I’ll just jump in with them.

ELIAS:  Very well.

DARYL:  One of them is that I’ve had somewhat of a recurrence of the breathing difficulties that we’ve talked about before.  Before when we talked, you said that I was suspicious of my dream state, and we also talked about fear, and I wanted to check in with you about my impressions about what’s going on in that area.

I have been aware of fear in my dream state, and part of that seemed to have to do with my identity within the vastness of my own essence, and trying to kind of come to terms with that.  Also, I have a strong impression that I’m dealing with my duplicity issues and my existence issues, and feeling my own anger at myself within my duplicity, which basically makes me feel threatened within my existence.  Also, I have a sense that I’m using the experiences in this area to help me learn about turning my attention or my perception, and I wanted to know if I’m kind of understanding what’s going on there, and if there is any information you can add that would be helpful to me at this point.

ELIAS:  I shall be greatly acknowledging of you, Ashrah, for you are correct on all counts in your impressions and your assessment of what you are creating and what you are addressing to.

In this, as you continue to be creating this physical action, you do also continue to gain your attention and hold your attention objectively in your continuation of addressing to your viewing of the affectingness of different expressions of fear.

I may also express to you that you are quite accurately allowing yourself to identify the affectingness that you are incorporating in relation to identity.  This is quite real, and I may say to you that within this time framework, many individuals are moving in an addressment of this particular subject matter.

As you continue to be moving within this shift in consciousness and inserting it into your objective reality, it becomes more and more real.  What this means is that your knowing of YOU becomes more and more real in a much more expansive manner, for you are allowing yourself to open to your periphery.  You are not merely viewing yourself and your reality within a narrow field, but you are opening your awareness to the periphery of your reality concerning yourself and all that you are.

In this, as you engage this type of action, what in actuality is occurring is not merely that you become aware of other aspects of yourself or other focuses of yourself, for this type of awareness is limited.  Many, many, many individuals hold an objective awareness that they participate in other focuses, but there continues to be an element of separation, as they view all of these other aspects of themselves to be separate from themselves, which is quite understandable, for it is, in a manner of speaking, the safeguard that has been created in relation to your individual identity, but it IS an expression of separation.

As you move more within the expression of this shift in consciousness, dropping the veil of separation, you also begin the awareness of the reality that there is no separation between yourself and any other aspect of yourself in any form.  Therefore, these divisions that you have held to previously in association with time frameworks or space arrangements begin to disappear, and as they disappear, you incorporate the knowledge and the knowing of all of these other aspects of yourself AS YOU.

Now; this may not be an expression that you hold within thoughts in a continuous manner, or that you are objectively aware of through continuous experience or even constant noticing.  But there is a consistent underlying awareness that this knowing and this lack of separation, figuratively speaking, is approaching your objective awareness more and more.  It is becoming closer and closer.

In this, you may experience some moments of confusion and a threateningness within your individual identity, for you have configured your energy and your attention in a manner throughout your focus to be singularly identifying yourself and separately identifying yourself.

You do not view yourself, in literal terms, as being any other expression of consciousness than the physical manifestation that you view of yourself.

Are you understanding?

DARYL:  Um-hmm.

ELIAS:  Therefore, as you begin allowing yourself to drop these veils of separation, regardless of your incorporation of thoughts, you experience in a type of feeling — not necessarily emotion, but a feeling — that this expression of separation is an illusion, and that you in actuality ARE all of these other expressions.  This becomes confusing, for it is not consistent with the design of thought patterns that you have created, and therefore it is deemed illogical, and thus you create an expression of confusion.

Let me express to you that this is quite temporary, for as you continue movement in the expression of acceptance, you also continue to practice in relaxing your energy, and as you relax within yourself, you allow more of an ease in your movement into the lack of separation, which abates the expression of fear.

DARYL:  Okay.  On the other part of it, where I’ve felt like I’m angry at myself and that has to do with my fear, and that also ties in with the idea of my existence, is there some kind of dynamic going on between that and the dropping of the veils of separation?

ELIAS:  Yes.

DARYL:  So is that like ... I don’t know, not exactly another expression of it, but connected to it?

ELIAS:  Yes.  This is an expression of viewing this aspect of you in familiarity, looking to yourself in this expression of familiarity.  And although you may assess yourself to be lacking in certain expressions, which is the element of duplicity that you refer to, you also, in a manner of speaking, credit yourself with certain expressions.  You view yourself to be a thought-invoking individual, one that exhibits a reasonable intelligence, in your assessment, and therefore, you hold an expectation of yourself that you should be accomplishing better, for you are offering yourself information, and therefore, you expect your functioning to be occurring in a manner that allows you to be accomplishing more easily and without obstacle.  Therefore, you become frustrated with yourself, in THIS particular expression of yourself, in its familiarity.  But the knowing, intellectually and objectively, is not what you may term to be a complete knowing.  Therefore, it is — as you have designed it to be — a process in which you allow yourself the steps of assimilating information.

Your objective awareness is quite expansive, and in this expression of objective awareness, there are many intricacies.  It is, figuratively speaking, an extremely complex mechanism which allows input and output of a tremendous volume of information, which in a manner of speaking is processed in many, many, many different manners, not merely thought.

Thought is merely one of your most obvious expressions of mechanical workings, so to speak, of your objective awareness, and one that you afford a tremendous expression of attention, but you process information in many different fashions.

In this, you are looking to the most obvious expressions of your objective awareness, that of emotion and thought, and you are identifying that these are the two only aspects of you that need be processing all of this information concerning your movement within this shift in consciousness, and need be expressing in harmony with each other, and thusly, you shall be assimilating the information and altering your perception.  But there is much more to this instrument of perception than merely the input of your thoughts and emotions.

You hold many senses, and you also incorporate many aspects of knowing within you, and communications that you identify as impressions, impulses, intuition.  All of these aspects of you, all of these qualities of you, are all moving in the design of your individual process to be assimilating in an objective expression the movement that you are choosing in relation to this shift in consciousness, allowing you to be actualizing this shift in your individual reality.  Therefore, you may be turning your thoughts, but that may not necessarily turn your perception in itself.

This is what you are engaging:  By offering yourself a continuous interaction with information within yourself, you allow yourself to notice and identify and become familiar with more of you, and as you continue in that action, all of the other qualities of you, beside the thought and emotion, become involved in your process of assimilation.  This is accomplished in the familiarization with you, in who you are and what you are, and as you continue to be creating this action, you also erode the structure of the fear, and you deflate the power of the expression of duplicity.

DARYL:  Okay.... (Laughing, and Elias chuckles)  So this is gonna be an ongoing process for a while, I take it, like moving through this?  I feel like a lot of the concepts I’ve been learning about for the past couple of years are kind of converging in some way I don’t quite understand, and I don’t know, like there’s some other understanding being born within me, but....

ELIAS:  You are correct.

DARYL:  It seems like it’s not a sudden thing ... I don’t know.  It’s a gradual thing, but kinda like ... I don’t know, a very big change.

ELIAS:  Yes, and it is accelerating.

DARYL:  Okay.

ELIAS:  As you are creating movement and as you continue to be validating of yourself, you are eroding this fear, and as you continue in this action, you also accelerate your movement.

DARYL:  And I’ve also been ... it’s like I begin to understand something and get more of a knowing, and then I bring in something from the outside that kind of confirms it, and I go, oh, I was right!

ELIAS:  Ha ha ha ha ha!

DARYL:  It’s kind of building my confidence up about understanding what’s going on.

ELIAS:  Quite, and this is what I am expressing to you in acknowledgment, that you ARE creating this type of validation within you, and each time you are engaging that action, you are also accelerating your process.

DARYL:  Well, it should be a fun ride! (Laughing, and Elias chuckles)  I know that when I’m not really scaring myself or whatever, freaking myself out, it’s quite something!  I don’t know, it’s unlike anything I’ve experienced before, all this activity inside me.

ELIAS:  Let me also express to you, Ashrah, that in this, you are creating an element of excitement, and that excitement is also sparking an acceleration.

DARYL:  Okay, and I really am getting a sense of knowing myself more; not exactly an acceptance yet, but a lot closer than I have been, and a relaxing of things a little bit. (Elias chuckles)  Okay, does that pretty much cover what’s going on there?  Should I go on to another?

ELIAS:  You may.

DARYL:  Okay.  I want to discuss again with you one of the things we discussed last time, which was the dual simultaneous response.  I had a very big reaction to that; I blocked hearing the information on the phone when you were talking to me, and the first two times I listened to the tape, I tried blocking it too.  It’s obviously very affecting of me, so I want to learn more about that, and one of the things I’m curious about is, I felt like I was actually engaging that action during our discussion of the action.  Can you tell if that...

ELIAS:  Yes, you are correct.

DARYL:  Okay, and I’ve been able to identify how that’s affected my relationships in a big way in the past.

ELIAS:  Ah!  Do tell!  Ha ha ha ha!

DARYL:  (Laughing)  And I can also see where it’s made me more fearful about interacting with people.  One of the things I want to know is, is the dual response always in conjunction with discounting self?  Or is there a similar action where I could be projecting, say, worthiness and go through the same thing, kinda like the opposite of discounting of self?  Is it kind of particular to the discounting of self? (Pause)  Do you understand what I mean?

ELIAS:  Yes.  Now; let me express to you that this at times may be confusing within you, for at times you may be acknowledging of self, but I may also express to you that there may be simultaneously another aspect which is being expressed which IS a discounting.  It merely is expressed in more of an insidious manner.  It may be more efficiently camouflaged. (Chuckling)

But within this now and in the knowing of your movement and your addressment to certain issues that you are engaging presently, we shall not concern ourselves with that expression yet, for this may be, in a manner of speaking, skipping shells, and in actuality may be creating of more confusion than is necessary presently, and also may open another window for the furtherment of the expression of duplicity in discounting yourself, which you are quite efficient in accomplishing automatically already!  Therefore, we need not be reinforcing that expression presently! (Laughing)

DARYL:  Okay.  So I have to get back to you on this if I want to later, is what you’re saying?

ELIAS:  Quite.  Within this now, let us continue in the attention upon what you are noticing, in how you move in the automatic expressions of discounting of yourself and the duality of conflicting expressions simultaneously, and allowing yourself to be noticing of that action without chastisement of yourself.

This is, in your very physical terms, a large enough hurdle to be accomplishing presently, without moving in the direction of skipping shells and confusing yourself also! (Chuckling)

DARYL:  Okay.  Well, I don’t know if this is within the same area or not, but does that only occur in interaction with another individual?  I’m trying to figure out my interaction outside of other individuals, like if I’m watching a movie or something like that.

Because I’ve become very aware that ... like I engage in something on the outside like that, and it sends me on the inner searches, I guess would be a term for it.  Like when I go outside and do something like that, it makes me think about stuff and then sends me inside, and I’m trying to learn more about that action.  For some reason, I’m drawing it to my attention a lot.

ELIAS:  I am understanding, and you are correct that you need not be engaging interaction with another individual to be experiencing this same type of action.

DARYL:  Okay, so it is the same action.

ELIAS:  Yes.

DARYL:  So I can do it all by myself.

ELIAS:  Yes. (Chuckling)

DARYL:  Okay.  Regarding the inward-outward stuff, I guess I’m also curious about that in relation to orientation.  Another subject that has come up recently is that I’ve realized that over the years — you know, prior to yourself — people have always said, “Be in the now.”  I have struggled in my own way to be in the now, and I have realized recently that that definition to me means that I should be focused on only things that are outside of me, because that’s how you be in the now, and I’m beginning to wonder how much of this is mass beliefs.

Like if I’m with another person, I should be focused exclusively on what’s going on with them, or I should be focused exclusively on what’s going on outside of me, and what happens to me is that I seem to balance in and out, and then I have felt myself a failure at being in the now, because I can’t seem to keep my attention outside the way I feel like I’m supposed to be.

ELIAS:  Ah!

DARYL:  I read something just a couple days ago where you were talking to Ulra about interaction, and how when we are interacting with somebody, our attention is with the other person and their tone of voice and what they’re expressing, and to me that’s been something I’ve been promoting because I thought that was how you be in the now, and now I’m thinking that I’ve got it kind of reversed.

ELIAS:  You are correct.  It is the reverse.

As I express to you to be in the now, I am not expressing to you that you be holding your attention exclusively with another individual OR exclusively with self.

What I AM expressing to you is to allow yourself to be incorporating an awareness of what you are participating within, and allow yourself the awareness of YOU and what YOU are creating.

This holds significance, for this action is the element that most individuals do not allow themselves an awareness of objectively.

You are quite correct that this is the design of mass belief systems and mass incorporation of action, to be identifying that you shall be present and within the now if you are paying attention to all that is occurring around you and outside of you, and if you are interactive with another individual and holding your attention intensely and exclusively upon the other individual, you shall be accomplishing being in the now, or within the present, in your definitions.  This is yet again another example of redefining your terms and thusly your reality, for what I am expressing to you in allowing yourself to be in the now is the recognition that all that is occurring in the present now IS OF YOUR DESIGN.

Therefore, it matters not whether you are interactive with another individual, whether you are not interactive with another individual; whether you are engaging an activity and [are] interactive with different configurations within your world, or whether you engage an action singularly, as you identify it, with yourself.  It genuinely matters not, for all that is, is being created by you.  It is all a configuration of your perception.

Therefore, as we speak of looking outside of yourself versus looking or viewing inwardly, these are in actuality figurative terms that I have incorporated in conversation with many of you, knowing that you hold an understanding of this type of terminology in a fashion, which temporarily is allowing for some assimilation of the information that I am expressing to you.  Once again, as I have expressed to you this day, it is, in a manner of speaking, a movement in compliance with the processes that each of you have individually designed within your focuses, in your choice of how you shall be creating your movement.

Now; in this, genuine being in the now — in the expression of acceptance, in your objective awareness — is the actual recognition and awareness of you and what you are creating, what you are participating within, what you are enacting, and all of the expressions of you that are simultaneously occurring, which may be expressed in holding an awareness within every now of what you are exhibiting in behavior, in emotion, in thought, in physical outer senses, in the expression of your inner senses, of your physical body consciousness, of the movement and functioning of your physical expression, and the projection of energy that you are creating from yourself which interacts with what you view as your world.

Presently, you continue to view yourself as a separate entity.  Regardless of your philosophy, regardless of your thoughts and your identification that you are all interconnected and that all elements of your universe are interconnected and that consciousness is interconnected, in reality, you continue to view yourself as an entity which is separate, in some manners, in physical terms, from all other configurations of energy of consciousness.

You do not view yourself as the tree outside of your home.  You view the tree as a separate entity which is outside of you.  You view your structure of your home as another entity which is outside of you.  You view another individual as another separate entity which is outside of you.  We have not moved yet into extensive discussions incorporating the ideas of you AS all of these entities.

Therefore, we continue to be engaging discussion in the format, so to speak, of identifying those elements of your reality that you view to be other entities as being outside of you, and confining the idea of the inner you to be that which is expressed in what you identify presently as you.

And as we continue to discuss this information in relation to those definitions and those identifications of your reality, I direct your attention to be turning your perception by turning your attention to that which you identify presently as you inwardly.

As I have stated, you have created a process, and within that process, we are moving in increments, in steps, so to speak, and I, in response to each of you, move in compliance with the step that you individually are presently engaging.

Now; you, Ashrah, are engaging the step, so to speak, of allowing yourself to recognize your definitions of your reality.  You are allowing yourself to identify how you define your reality.

One of your definitions of your reality is, as you have stated, viewing yourself as being present and within the now by paying attention to those actions and expressions that are occurring outside of you, and holding your attention exclusively to them.

In that context, I express to you, as you are allowing yourself more of an openness in your awareness, you are correct that it is the reverse.  Turning your attention to you and holding your attention upon self in a continuous manner is the beginnings of the movement into an actual expression of allowing yourself objectively to be within the now.

Once you have accomplished the movement of your attention from outside of you TO you inwardly, so to speak, the movement of expansion of your awareness, engaging more of your periphery and the dropping of the separation, shall move quite rapidly and much more easily.

This initial hurdle, so to speak, is the largest of your jumps, (chuckling) and once accomplishing of THIS turn within your perception, the further turning of your perception may be accomplished with much more of an expression of ease.

In a manner of speaking, you may liken yourselves to a type of gear, and in this, you have created a quite deep groove in one particular spot, so to speak, and therefore, the gear is not quite so easily turned to the next notch, for it has embedded itself in this one groove, and therefore, once it has allowed itself to move beyond this one particular groove and creates that one slight turn, it shall much more freely move in its turning within the subsequent notches, so to speak. (Chuckling)

DARYL:  Hmm.  I’ve also ... probably in the past couple years, but especially now, I’ve had ... I don’t know how to explain it exactly, but a sense of identity more as a focus of attention rather than how I used to think of my identity.

ELIAS:  Quite.

DARYL:  And that’s related to this also.

ELIAS:  Yes.  This also is relating to our discussion earlier in relation to identity and dropping the veils of separation, viewing yourself differently, altering your perception, and in this, redefining yourself in what you are.

DARYL:  Okay.  Whew!

ELIAS:  HA HA HA HA HA!  And I shall express to you an emphasis upon your last comment, for I may be in agreement with you in WHEW!  Ha ha ha ha ha!  Quite an immense movement in this shift, is it not?

DARYL:  It is, and it’s making it more real and understandable to me, more of a sense of what it is that we’re doing.

ELIAS:  (Chuckling)  And in this, I express to you greatly an acknowledgment and an encouragement that you acknowledge yourself, for you are correct in your WHEW!  For this is a tremendous alteration of your design of your reality, and you ARE accomplishing in this movement.

I may express to you that no other physical reality to this point — in your understanding objectively — has created this type of an alteration of their reality.  You are reconfiguring the blueprint, in a manner of speaking, or the design of ALL of your reality in this physical dimension.  This is an enormous feat!  That you are accomplishing this action in as little expression of trauma as you are is to your tremendous credit! (Chuckling)

DARYL:  Well, I guess ... I know one thing that I discovered about myself is that I really do like challenges and intensity, and this certainly works well with that! (Laughing)

ELIAS:  Quite!  Ha ha ha ha ha!

DARYL:  It’s quite a little adventure! (Laughing)

ELIAS:  Ah!  I may express to you, you have quite efficiently chosen an immense challenge — ha ha ha ha! — one that shall not incorporate much expression of boredom!

DARYL:  Yeah, really! (Laughing, and Elias chuckles)

Okay, one little thing I want to check with you before we go.  When I’m dreaming, I have this thing where I realize I’m dreaming by being ... I’m in my kitchen, and I open the door to my garage, and I see in the garage that there are a lot of things going on.  Sometimes I just take that and go, “Oh, I’m dreaming,” and other times I’ve gone back repeatedly and opened the door to see what has changed in there.  It doesn’t seem to me to be a dream trigger in the way you’ve described those, and I’m wondering what it is besides a way to help me realize I’m dreaming, or if that’s simply what it’s doing.

ELIAS:  It is not merely an opportunity to allow you the objective recognition that you are creating dream imagery, but it is also your allowance, once again, in validation to you of the movement that is being created within you and thusly within all of your reality, and the alterations, the reconfiguration, the restructuring of your reality.  In this, you create an imagery in which objects within a particular room are continuously changing, and in a manner of speaking shifting, for this is a mirroring of what YOU are creating.

Therefore, this is an expression of validation that you are offering to yourself in another manner.  You are offering yourself subjective validation in addition, so to speak, to the objective validations that you also create in offering to yourself.  You are correct that you are also incorporating this action to become familiar with dream translation and subjective activity which you allow yourself the objective interaction with — which is the configuration of dream imagery — and in this, as you become more familiar, you also dissipate elements of fear.

DARYL:  Yeah, because there was a little fear in the beginning, but now it’s more playful than anything else.

ELIAS:  Ha ha!  And I once again shall be continuing to encourage you to be incorporating this dreaded expression of fun!  Ha ha ha ha ha!

DARYL:  (Laughing)  Well, I’ve been working very seriously on that!

ELIAS:  Ah! (Laughing, and Daryl makes an inaudible comment)  Ha ha ha ha ha!  Serious fun!  Ah, yes! (Laughing)

DARYL:  I really have realized just recently that intensity doesn’t have to imply seriousness.

ELIAS:  Ah, quite!  You may be experiencing much intensity and NOT be incorporating seriousness!  Ha ha ha ha ha!  I may be a prime example at times of this action!  Ha ha!

DARYL:  That certainly is something to assimilate too, in all this information.  I don’t know if everyone experiences this, but when I have certain sessions with you, including this one, I just feel waves and waves of subjective interaction and information and all kinds of stuff going on, and I really feel a lot of that today.

ELIAS:  And you are receiving.  I may express to you, this is offered to all individuals, although not all individuals allow themselves the openness to be experiencing of this action, for some individuals block the exchange of energy to an extent, and do not allow themselves the objective awareness of their participation in subjective interaction.  You, my friend, are allowing yourself tremendous strides beyond the expression of fear, and allowing yourself the incorporation of a tremendous expression of openness in allowance with myself and the energy exchange that we participate within together.

DARYL:  I certainly enjoy it — it’s something I really enjoy!  I like being aware of it.  I think I’m very fond of subjective movement.

ELIAS:  And this is a tremendous expression of YOU.  Therefore, I am acknowledging of you in this and expressing, hear hear! (Laughing)

DARYL:  Okay.  Well, I will continue to be talking to you more or less continuously about this.

ELIAS:  Very well, and I shall continue in my interaction with you in energy expressions.

DARYL:  Okay.  Well, thank you, my friend, for your assistance.

ELIAS:  (Affectionately)  You are very welcome, my friend.  I anticipate our next meeting, and within what you term to be the interim, I shall be offering my expression of energy to you.  I express to you great affection and much encouragement, and be remembering playfulness!  Ha ha ha!  To you this day, au revoir.

DARYL:  Au revoir.
